Convenient, big enough (for now), fast! I'm using this primarily to back up and transport my music files.

Just plug and play -- easy. Made a backup of my windows computer. Very fast.

This hard drive worked perfectly. I had no issues with it. I would highly recommend using this drive to store your large files, short films or feature length longer films. This is what I used mine for.

Excellent compact 1 T SSD at a decent price. I am beginning to archive files from my cloud account that I haven't touched in years but do not want to lose. Also handy to create a location for all relevant files pertaining to the archives because they are scattered among various hard drives and cloud accounts

I had heard of 'external hard drive' but did not really pay much attention as it was something I never thought I would need...until I did. I began getting messages on the computer when I tried to save anything , that the 'storage was full'. Not good, as my computer was not that old. With BB help, I was directed to this external hard drive to save everything that was already on the computer and also being able to save and add new files going forward. For $60, it was l lifesaver to me. I had to be shown how to use the external hard drive (plug USB into computer , run, and transfer.) Almost that easy. Had to be shown exactly what things to click on. Not computer literate...

The Geek Squad needed the Portable Hard Drive to move my files from my old desktop so they could make repairs. I'm glad I have this because I can easily copy my files from my laptop or desktop and store the files for safe keeping. It would be a real disaster if say there was a storm that took out my PC and Laptops. I could replace the equipment, but if my files were lost I would be in big trouble. This way, I don't have to worry.
