    I had been using a large self powered external disk for backup. It was too darn big and noisy for my MacBook so I downsized while still having a large capacity. A much nicer, quieter, and faster external disk. So far I am liking the change.

    Should be good external hard drive but my windows 7 computer was old enough that I couldn't download the updated drivers for the item. Been working on the new computer so that I can use the drive to backup.
