    We replaced our old WD Passport with this model. It works, but still experiencing some of the same issues. We have to try twice consecutively to get it to start a backup. Then, when the backup is done, we try to "disconnect" the device properly, and it usually tells us it is still working when it isn't.

    This worked pretty well. I got it for my iPad, but it doesn’t come with a USB-C cord. Had to use one from another device.
