I bought this for a client who has financial information and using the encryption utility was effortless. The USB 3.0 interface was so fast. Backups occurred quickly.

He was spot on. It doesn't always read when I turn on my computer and if I unplug it and replug it, it connects.

Apparently it is unable to backup when my computer is not in active status. I tried to get support for my Window 10 system without much success. So I start backing it up manually. It works, but not ideal. I used to be able to do scheduled backup with my iMac.

Best Buy transferred all my files, and I didn't lose a thing! Now they are assessable anytime I need them, or I can download them to my current system.
