Only worked for a couple of months now my two desktop mac and Microsoft along with a Microsoft laptop will not read it took it to get it checked and they said it would be $ 200 so much for hav your work backed up to this

had to return - too difficult to integrate with MacBook Pro.

Hi, I returned home an hour ago after purchasing A new HP laptop, MSFT 365 and a WD 1TB MY PASSPORT Hard drive, only to discover that the hard drive was not in the large bag the store clerk gave me. I have been unable to reach the store (It is an hour away). What do I do?

This was not a good buy for me, turned out to not work for me at all. Im actually returning it. The sales associate who said its what I need have knowledge to what I really needed.

Really difficult to use. I had to return unable to use.

I will not purchase this product again. The drive failed and I've lost all of my important client data on it. Keep giving error message device is not avilable

This only worked for a few weeks. It has been a great disappointment. WD walked me through reformatting it, but it only lasted a few weeks again.

I lost all of my media and files. This hard drive has not been good from the start. I have been doing everything right and it’s been nothing but trouble. I wish I never bought it and backed my media and files on it. I’m so upset right now. Do not buy.

Not sure how to use it and it wasn't explained how to use it when I picked up my laptop from Geek Squad. I will not recommend Geek Squad in the future. I cannot respond to below questions as I don't know how to use product.

The device worked great until it had a fatal error. It happened randomly during a game. It was in a well ventilated spot so it couldn't over heat and the cable was never touched. It had great response time but died rather quickly for how much it is.

Last 2 years then stopped connecting to my Mac book. Tried taking to geek squad and it’s the passport and not my Mac book. Essentially need to get a new one. So frustrating.

The quality, value, and ease of use doesn't matter when the overall experience with Best Buy employees is so poor. Short-staffed doesn't have to equal rude and ambivalent.

i'm not very happy with this product. purchased it for my girlfriend for her macbook. even though it said it would work. i had to go around the world to have it even read on the mac. i would not recommend for mac users.

this is the biggest piece of junk on the planet. There is nothing i could do to get this to work on windows 10 or windows 7. i tried everything i could. stay away from this drive

It failed on the formatting stage during the plug in process then proceeded to have a clicking noise

I installed it several times (to replace a 2-year old one which I could not launch) and could not launch this one either. Attempts to contact WD got no response. Replaced this one with a Seagate.

Thought I downloaded all my files from my old computer which took a long time. But plugging into my new Dell computer, I cannot locate files or photos anywhere that I can see.
