During the set up process, I didn’t know it was being formatted for Mac only. I have Mac but client has pc. Had so many problems trying to restore the external device that I just gave up and returned it. Will not be buying this brand again.

Had to remove all the files and returned it back to the store. I won’t buy this brand again

Geek squad up sold me after damaging my computer

Then damaging it beyond repair, management offered me an open box computer as a replacement for half the cost, then resended that offer to only $400 to purchase a new computer. They would not match the specs of my damaged property. management and supervisors at Best Buy don’t seem to care about their customers only their bottom line of having me purchase new product.

It had another person's personal data on it and was used last by the Geek Squad. My colleague did not look at the data as he had to use it for something else, but we were concerned enough to leave this feedback. Thank you.

It took me several hours and I wasn't sure if I did it correctly. The paper insert certainly didn't include directions. I used a combination of the website listed and YouTube. It seems to have worked????

I got the feeling that I was continuously being given an upsell ALL THE TIME. Had to put my computer in for repairs and was told I needed to purchase this to get information off computer and would be told if everything was ok. NEVER heard anything until repair center called to see if I would approval a $900+ repair bill. OF COURSE, I had no choice ... yes. I still do not know if my information was saved and STILL waiting on something OTHER THAN asking me to pay for something else. I am still in the 4 - 6 week window as was first told, but felt I would hear SOMETHING!!! I am not happy and will investigate other sources for my computer needs as soon as I get my computer back.
