Back up your important data, photos, or music. 1TB is large enough you may be able to back up your entire internal drive. Set a schedule to automatically back up what you want, when you want, or back up individual files. Just copy and paste (or drag and drop). If you can use file explorer, you can use this the same way. It is plug and play.

I assume that it will work well if I ever need to access the files on it, but I haven't had to test that out.
