    The only downside about this purchase was that I didn’t get more storage. I thought 1 TB was good enough for me but I could’ve gotten more. Other than that, it is a great purchase

    Western Digital is well know for its quality and this external HD is no exception. It's based on Hard Drive, so is cheaper than the actual SSDs and must fit the budget for everyone.

    This is a great value for the price tag. If you’re just storing files, pics & videos, music. I wouldn’t recommend this for 4K videos though because of the read/write speeds.

    purchased 2 of these to use for backing up data on 2 laptops. shortly after purchase, old laptop gave up the ghost and I was glad I had backed up all of it'sdata less than a week before.

    Did not get rid. Of my problem. It still tells me that it was not shut down properly and needs to be restored. I always close everything and either shut down or sleep.
