After looking for several external hard drives I went with this product. Great price, plenty of memory space for my needs and super easy set up.

It seems to work ok; however, even though I installed the WD backup program, the laptop still wants to run backups using DVD- discs, even after I run a WD backup. The WD program didn't stop that, even though I thought I changed the settings in windows 10. I can use it like a BIG USB flash drive. After buying, I saw I could have gotten one twice as large (2 TB) for $20.00 more - really don't need it though.

I like that it is compact and light. Holds a lot of information which I need for my job.

Great storage back up for my pics and files. Have not had it go out or not recognize when I plug it in. Simple to use and and not too big.

I've been paying a monthly fee for document storage on Drop Box. which was bvery pragmatic for sharing big files while i was still working. Now that I've retired, I wanted to keep my files but no longer need massive file exchanges with colleagues, so i ducked into Best Buy one night, got a recommendation for this baby from a Blue Shirt, & I was in & out in under 30 minutes for under 60 bucks. No monthly fees for my fixed income retired life anymore! This works like a charm & I still have lots of space for storing megafiles from my home PC.

Ive been using these devices for quite sometime. As long as you baby the products, they will last a tremendous amount of time. I do daily back ups between many devices to ensure I have my files secured, this storage unit does everything I need quickly.

I was looking for a portable hard drive to back up important files and pictures that were on my desktop computer. This one fit the bill. It is small enough so I can put it in lockbox for added security if I want to and it will hold more stuff than I probably could amass. It was on sale which made it another added bonus. My "tech skills" are about average, so I had a little difficulty with the setup. It wasn't really that hard, it was just that I was over thinking everything. I also liked that I could get it a color other than black. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase.

For decades I have been diligent about backing up my systems at work, but not at home. I've been lucky and not lost anything, but I was just lucky. I bought the Passport, and it didn't take long ot setup an automated backup of my laptop. Great device.

I bought this to expand my ps4 storage. It is small and tucks away simply. It formatted and items were transferred easily. I now have plenty of room to install or download even more games in the future. I plan on buying a larger one in the future for my desktop computer.

I purchased this to store my papers and projects on while in med school and let me just say it’s a lifesaver. Stored everything I needed for presentations and to print out when I couldn’t connect my laptop to the school computer while away from home.

Always running out of storage on my PS$ so decided to give the WD passport a shoot. Work great, I have all my game saved to it and the run without any problems and they load fast. This is a great option if you want to expand the storage on your PS4

I bought this for my XBox and nothing could have been easier to configure/format. Using this drive is seemless and allows me to download a lot of games and simply play off the drive. I can’t really tell any difference from playing off the internal hard drive vice the passport. I keep it plugged in via the included USB. It’s 1TB is double the 500 GB internal drive on the XBox. If I downloaded every game available for free I could fill up this drive but haven’t come close by downloading just the games that I want to play the most.

Just connect and use. Easy hook-up, easy to use. No external power needed. Plenty of space to store your files. Small and portable. What else could you want?

Got this to hold secure payroll info outside of laptop. Easy loading process and very easy to format. Secure and reliable storage device for sure! Go buy it!

I wanted something to protect my pictures and videos, this portable hard drive did the job. Not only do I have them backed up, I can take them with me and share with family. It's small and fits well in my purse. Easy to use which is a plus for me.
