Bought this to back-up files & photos from laptop. Have used these in the past and they are fairly reliable (but remember redundant backups on all important documents and photos - nothing is foolproof)

Great for external storage of large files. The only thing I wish it had was an easier way to lock/encrypt the device with password. I believe I read it has the capability, but I maybe haven’t spent enough time trying to find that feature.

This was easy to setup and use I've only had it for a month but have experienced no problems at this time. Seems to be working well and is backing up my full computer every month and certain files on a weekly basis

This is easy to set up and use. I only want to update once a week and seeing as this wasn't an option they provided it doesn't automatically download. Maybe I need to hook up to the cloud in order for this feature to work but I don't want to do that. So I plug it in and download at my convenience. No problem with that.

I've been using it for 2 months - not easy to learn to set-up but works well once you get used to it. It is straight forward to save files. No instructions with the product. Need to go on-line and read a 40 page document. It could use a quick set-up guide with the product. It is a valuable way to protect your files, photos, music, etc

Was able to get this on sale for $50 and it works every well with my laptop. I am greatful that I could get a backup for a reasonable price and the nice royal blue color is a added bonus.

I was taking a photo class and the instructor had one of the passports and it was very easy to use so I bought me one and now I can store all my photos on it and know they are safe

I was about to lose all of my info on my computer, but I got this as what's great about it is that o can save everything on this from now on since it seems like I have to get a new computer every few years

I bought mine mostly to store photos instead of having them in different flash drives, phones, cloud accounts. It's a lot easier to have it stored in one device and then erase the others to make space for new ones.

Well I finally decided to stop deleting my games to make room for more and by an external hard drive. This one is a decent hardrive but if you want bang for your buck, Costco is it for external hard drives.

I got this drive for my Mother because she was saving her files on her MacBook Pro desktop and I could not take it. She loves this product. She is able to save on her drive and have a clean desktop.
