This external hard drive is 1TB. For that amount of back up storage for this price, u can't beat it. So easy to use.

Just place it and go. The magnet is strong and doesn't slip. I suffer from neuropathy issues and scapula winging so doing anything with my phone on most windshield mounts is pain staking. this is so easy to use for me.

this is my 6th purchase of WD External Hard Drive. of the 6, I only had one that failed. It was dead on arrival, an internal MB problem. Never worked, so no data was lost and I got a replacement from WD. These devices are great, they take up no room, they are silent, you can get them in different colors to further help you assign data to them from different machines and are invaluable in protecting your data from a pc/laptop failure. I use 2 for my gaming consoles. great product.

I love bright colors! And the hard drive world used to be so dark! Finally got this one in pleasant blue color! WD brand seems to make reliable products. I have had others from them and never had any problem.

When the geek squad was transferring my data from my old laptop they recommended this product. I'm so glad I bought it. Looking forward to using it for future back ups too. It is very economical & helpful too.

I take tons and tond of pictures. I have them all downloaded to this device. When i need a picture printed or look for a certain one. I know they are all safe in one spot. Plus my computer isn’t bogged down.

List one of my external hard drives. Best Buy was able to retrieve over 90% of it. They placed the data in this hard drive and it’s compact and works beautifully. However I don’t suggest leaving any important data you want to keep on an external drive. Life span is usually 3-5 years. Need to cut to dvds for storing and have a spare dvd as well. Lessons learned! Thanks Best Buy.

Computer problem that needed repair. Didn't have anything to back up my data. Geek Squad suggested this product. Transferred my data. Simple process.... And now a have a back up, just in case for the future.

Like the product durable, portable and user friendly unit

My wife likes to take a lot and I mean a lot of pictures. Trying to store all of them on thumb drives or burning them to other media was getting out of hand. I bought this drive so she could store them all in one place and this has worked out great. She loves the ease of use and access when she goes to friends and families houses to show all the photos she takes. WD has always made great products and this is just another of those products. Great purchase.

I'm replacing all my old large fan drives used for backup storage. Peace of mind. Doing film or Stream editing fried old style external HD. This is my second Passport from Bestbuy and two others, as gifts.

Gave this to my niece for her birthday and she just loves it. She's at an age who loves social media and loves taking all kinds of photos. This portable drive now holds thousands of her videos and photos.

Years ago I bought an older WD hard drive and I loved it. I still have it today and it works just like the day I got it. Recently I saw that they released an updated version so I decided to try it out in red since it's my favorite color. Works exactly as it should. The only thing I wish this model came with is a carrying bag for it to avoid scratches on it because it is glossy. I would highly recommend Western Digital to anyone who is in the market for a great hard drive at a reasonable price.

Perfect size for the price and have had no complications with performance. Easy to hook up to any usb available device.

easy to access, light weight and small to carry over

My daughter's computer ran out of space so i wanted to get her something that was compact and looks cute. The blue is a pretty color and its kind of shiny. Works great. I just plug and added the path to the game she wanted and moved over her Origin content and all is good. Sims3 and Sims4 all moved over, flawlessly. Plus WD has a lot of software that you can use, for free. Just go to their website and click on support.
