I overpaid on this as a bundle service but this is an extremely useful and reliable device. I have bought external storage or back up devices before but they frequently got corrupted or lost data. No complaints about this one.

This device allows total separation of backups from the key components of the computer in an easy to use and no support necessary drive.

I bought this drive to get some information off of a failing hard drive. Moving data to the drive was fast with the USB 3.0 connection. Since then I have used the drive as external storage of a different computer and set up Google Sync. Now I am about to format it to make an expansion drive for my Xbox. So far it has performed great. I have had Seagate drives in the past and this one seems to do better and be more reliable.

Needed an external HD for my new over the air TV DVR and this was a perfect inexpensive option.

Good price. Geek Squad backuped my computer files for me and I would definitely recommend to save all your files in case of viruses.
