Geek squad recommended this data back up when they were fixing my computer and I am very pleased with it. It holds lots of data and the price was very reasonable

Blue color looks nice against all my other black and gray electronics. WD 1 TB external HD does exactly what it's designed to do. Happy with it. Also, the password protection is a bonus. Easy and intuitive. My Win 10 Laptop recognized it and didn't need any downloading.

1T of storage on the cheap, loaded it wit 4K movies and they play flawlessly with out any lag. Works for my needs.

For beginner, WD passport ultra is very good device to start storing information fast based and keep with you whereever you go. Fast data transfer, easy to use.

When I have bought new computers in the past, I have just had the data on the old one transferred directly to the new one, I was encouraged to use an external hard drive and I like it. I feel confident that I won't lose important info and don't have to worry about space.

I bought this 1TB HDD for my recently Purchased XBOX ONE S. My Xbox One S is white so i was looking for a USB 3.0 HDD in White color to extend the storage of the console. This suits my need perfectly and WD Quality and reliability is a plus. Works great with XBOX ONE S hooked to its USB 3.0 port. XBOX needs to format it with its own formatting standard before it can be used to store XBOX Games and Apps.

Product is very simple to use. I use it as an external storage device for my PS4. It makes no noise, and the light is easy to see when its powered and in use.

This is great at hold my photography work I just wish it was easier to understand that you need to set it up on both Mac and Windows to use on Mac and Windows

This drive is small and easy to use, great price as well. It doesn’t feel as solid as it looks though, the weight is not great and the plastic feels cheap.

Was disappointed in the selection and options at bestbuy for portable storage. However the passport brand is the industry leader for a reason. No complaints.

I have been buying Western Digital external hard drives for several years. I am a photographer and having a reliable device to store my photos electronically is really important. I currently own 3 WD My Book external hard drives and this is my second My Passport device. These passport devices are portable, yet reliable. If you are on the fence about what brand to purchase, my recommendation is 100% WD.

I purchased this device when I had my computer in at Best Buy to remove a malware problem and it was backed up by the Geek Squad, all information appears to be on the device. Only problem I can't figure out how to work the device and do another back up of my computer since no instructions for using device was included in the package. Inside box was a site to go to for instructions, but that lead to a 2 page info. stating it was easy to use, but still no instructions on how to use ? So I chatted with the geek squad on line and was told it would be better to bring the computer and the My Passport back into Best Buy to learn how to use the device, I have not had a chance to do that yet so it's hard to give a complete review on this device at this time. Everything seems to cost more money nowadays, and less help is supplied in the contains and the sites your referred to are usually hard to understand and/or of no help at all even when it states "easy fast set up instructions included" where are they ?? I only recommend this product because of the memory it's able to hold.

The storage device is super useful for me and easy to access. I set up files differently and it acts as my travel hard drive so my laptop is not cluttered.

This is my third one! I purchased two of them for Christmas and gave each one to my sons. This third one is for me and I love it! My sons are very happy with theirs. One of my sons used it to store all of his music and my other son used it to store all of his work stuff. I used it to store all of my pictures. Easy to use, excellent storage, and at a great price! My Passport is fantastic for backing up your computer. My hard drive crashed recently and this item saved me from losing some valuable personal memories!

I bought this external hard drive to store photographs I have taken through the years. I had originally stored them on flash drives, but was running out of space. At about $55, this is a super deal when you consider that 128gb or 256gb flash drives and sd cards are about the same price. This external drive was easy to set up and use right out of the box. Very happy with it.

I enjoy having more space on my ps4 cuse alot of games these days it takes up alot of space this give me a back up if I ever need more storage for games

I found out the hard way, how important it is to back up files. Lost everything on my computer, but thankfully the Geek Squad was able to recover them. They were placed on this 1TB External Hard Drive, which was inexpensive & compact. Plus, the hard drive holds much more than is already on it, so I'm all set & will be backing up my files on a regular basis.
