Small, great to take on the go, and lots of space and quick to download

Both read and write performs good. And so for I am using this for store all my Media files, not tried for system backup. Even when I connect with my Samsung Smart TV both Audio and Video files plays seamlessly but having some slowness when I am trying to access some large files. Overall this is good product. This color and finishing is added unique look among the External Drive.

Western Digital will forever be my go to for external hard drives. No doubt. I've used other brands and they have failed over time. So, I expect this one to be equally as reliable as the ones I still hold from 12+ years ago. However, while it's small, powerful, fast...it's also blue. How cool is that? It's about time we got some style in some basic peripherals. :)

Its a really nice and compact hard drive. it serves the purpose. i actually forgot the password of it, presently finding a way to remove the password.

Must have item. Very useful when storaging transferring files. Especially pictures. All the ones you take but never get printed. Investment for sure.

I needed a new backup drive of !TB to backup my computer which was in repair. I did not have one available and the agent showed me a current offer which when renewing the Geek Squad Tech Repair contract to Total Tech Support I would get a discount on the external hard drive...it was a great deal and could not pass up. I purchased the drive, got my computer repaired and backed up all in one stop. I have total several of my friends and they said they wished they had known about this before....Best Buy has been our "go to" place for electronics. Thanks!

Being a photographer, I always need external drives for backup and storage of my ever-growing inventory of photo files. I prefer portable hard drives for their smaller size and they don't need to be plugged into a separate power source, which makes them great for traveling or location work. The Western Digital 1TB My Passport Ultra hard drive fills those needs with no problem.

I have a lot of family pictures and videos along with many spread sheets and databases that are very important. I have a 9 year old 500MB WD passport drive that still work great. I needed more storage space and this was a reasonably priced drive. Since I've had no problems with my 500 MB WD drive, I am confident the new one will be just as reliable.

The hard drive was purchased for my Grandson who you used it to work with his Xbox video game console. It worked perfectly for this application

I've alwayz wanted a hard drive, n I finally got one. It's really good for my Xbox one, n its easy, n fast 2 install. I luv it! The thing is.. it's only 930 gigs, but it's all good tho. Bcuz I have 500 gigs in my Xbox, n I install all my games instead of deleting some. I have alot space, n I'm very happy about it. N now I could buy more games.. haha

I use these mainly as backup hard drives for video footage storage, or shuttle drives for color or audio prep to send back and forth to clients. At 5400 RPM, a multiple tb transfer can take from 3-12 hours. That being said, for the price, it gets the job done, and super reliable. I also use the drive as an external drive for my xbox one.
