I wanted a way to secure all my photo, audio and text files that doesn't rely on "the cloud". This external hard drive has large capacity, makes perfect replicas virtually instantly, and is very easy to use. Best of all, I am able to have in my possession an independent backup of all my must-save files.

Needed storage for my x-box and all you do is plug it in the the x-box now I have plenty of storage. No complaints at all.

So far, it's operating smoothly, as it's meant to. Quick to boot and load. Pleased with my purchase and with the product.

Performs well, connects to High speed internet quickly and the computer has lots of ++ options;lots of space for storage!

WD is great, quiet small and its a 1tbt. I can save so many things it. Although i can say i have seen it cheaper in other retail stores, i have found myself needing to buy this device due to data transfer from my laptop that needed repair from the Geek Squad crew.

I bought this for my daughter Xbox and it works perfect with a little configuration. Bought another for other daughter.

I needed a new hard drive and found this one! Easy to use, save, and retrieve my files! Also convenient to travel with.

This item was easy to connect to my computer. Software was easy to download. The only thing - and it maybe just me - the folders on the device can be confusing. Time will tell how this item will stand up to time.

Bought this because I had purchased 2 games that need more memory that is provided on my PS4. After reviews and research I found this for an awesome price. I bought it, formatted it as I needed and now I can play both games on top of my other games I previously have on my PS4 without deleting a thing.

It worked well and had no problems. Used it to help clear a bug off a broken laptop by saving backups then refreshing.

Needed more space on my ps4 was able to connect it transfer all my games with no problem just follow the instructions

I’ve had this for several months now and have had no issues from it. Using as extended storage for ps4. Easy to format for this purpose. Really needed because of console issues which caused data loss. Now all apps/downloads are safe with a one time purchase. May be buying another for computer.
