My son is an avid gamer, so our PS4 was maxed out. We bought this external hard drive, and it has been wonderful. It was easy to set up and it works wonderfully! Highly recommend!

Expect all my documents, photos, etc. to be saved.

I bought this drive for my brother-in-law that I loaded up with my media catalog (99% full). I tested it out for about a month before I could give it to him, and I had zero issues. Playback was instant, no lag/buffering, read/write over USB 3.0 was quick (1.5 hours for 1 TB transfer over 3.0 vs. 5 hours for 1 TB transfer over 2.0). The bright red color makes it difficult to lose sight of, which is a plus if you are tossing it in a bag or are prone to losing things in plain sight. I bought the 2 year protection plan for him, but I don't think it will be necessary because the drive seems pretty solid. I also have one of these drives in black running as my external for my Xbox One. I would recommend this drive for that purpose as well.

This is a great hard drive! It's compact, but holds a lot of memory. Glad I purchased this. I also bought the carrying case with this, so that I can store it inside to keep it protected from drops

Works great, in the sense that it stores my photos and files. no problems with it so far. works just like a usb and i'm pretty sure i can add a password to it. 10/10 would recommend

I didn't realize how much stuff I purchased from Best Buy until I was reminded of this drive (and I got treated like crap one time). Very nice feature of pairing with an internal hard drive for backing up, additional storage or simple portable storage. It has an unlock software built in that encrypts with the source so that you can lock invaders out and if they figure out your passcode they still can't decode the encryption. TONS of space. I have backed up 3 computers several times and copies of family photos (20 years worth) and videos and still have PLENTY of space left. I love the blue color too. LOL

It was on rack behind Geek counter, where I was getting help. Reminded me my 7 yr. old bulky backup drive was no longer in use. Passport is tiny and I HOPE is doing my weekly backup. I don't exactly know how to use the backup if I need it, but the size and price were GREAT. And of course the 1TB means I can store alot.

The WD My Passport portable drive has lots of storage space, good performance and supports strong encryption. You can carry a lot of data with the My Passport and the color Blue option matches Cubbie Blue. ;-)

We bought this external hard drive based on previous customers reviews and we are glad we did! It was easy to use and we were able to store a whole computer in this drive. We have our desktop to my father and needed to store all our information and this drive made an scary task easy to navigate.

It is very convenient to have this hard drive to save my all of my pictures from various phones and tablet that I had. I had a friend using it for a while now and still works great without any problems.

Excellent quality, size and portability! WD has never dissapointed me. I've had a 1TB My Book and it has served me well, I decided to get My Passport so I can carry it with me in my MacBook Pro backpack.

Bought this to use as my external storage drive for my laptop. Replaced an older model that was larger and required its own power source. This model is smaller, has more storage and I've had no problems.

This 1TB has a cool looking design to it, and it's: super light, easy to carry, fast to assemble to your computer, and it's small so it wont take up space in your carrying bag.

I work in TV production and these WD My Passport drives have always been my go-to drive. Over the years, I must've purchased over 50 of them and I've never had a failure. They are rugged, small, and reliable.

This little storage device performs flawlessly and fast! I can remember just a dozen years ago when comparable capacity occupied something the size of a Webster's dictionary. Great price, convenient size.

Dependable, light weight, tons of storage and affordable.

This was a very easy install. Took no more than 15 seconds to hook up. I used this for my ps4. Just plug in and go to setting to format. Havent had any problems with this. Now I have more space.

Pretty small, easily portable. Not very fast file transfer speed but it does the job. The included cable is pretty tiny.
