This passport external hard drive is very simple to use and pretty much was bought for all the pictures we have. We had over 3000 pics and it didn't take up but 1/4 of the storage on this unit.

Easy to use external hard drive! It got suggested to me while in store due to my macbook pro being older, thank goodness too because 3 days after I backed it up my hard drive crashed!

My Xbox one recognized the external storage as soon as it was plugged in asked to format for x box use and was ready to go.

Needed something to backup my data too. The My Passport external hard drive was just the ticket. 1TB, inexpensive, easy to use. As long as it holds up (no issues so far). I'm good to go.

This high quality external drive is easy to use and comes with all of the needed software. It is light-weight and compact and interfaces well with Windows 10 and works well with my 2016 Dell desktop.

With the price of backup drives today, there is no excuse to not backup your laptop. These backups drives are reasonably priced and small. Just toss in a desk drawer when not in use.

My son uses this to store his many many Xbox games to it so he doesn't have to keep downloading them over and over again due to limited space on the console and it works great and transports very easily.

I had an old, bulky external hard drive, and it stopped working. This new hard drive is compact, and easy to install. Your Geek Squad man listened to my problem, and recommended this unit.

For myself, the question was to get the WD or the Seagate brand. Both are similarly priced. I got the WD b/c I had one before. It works just fine. I like the password protect, simple design, color options (even tho I got black). The only thing I would consider is kinda technical. I think the WD brand doesnt have a SATA board, or its built in, or something, whereas the Seagate may have the removable SATA board. I dropped and broke my 10 year old WD passport and when I tried to learn how to salvage the data, I couldn't b/c either I'm not smart enough or b/c there is no removable SATA board. Hopefully the newer model is more resistant to drops. So, overall, I like the WD Passport, JUST DON'T DROP IT!

Lost data. As data added old data vanished. Picked up passport. backed up computer. missing data found. Back up on passport weekly. Aldo backed up work computer with plenth space to spare.

I thought that my old hard drive was toast, and I had one last chance to save and transfer my data. This WD was ready to plug in and go to work. Great price, great features, awesome unit.

I have a Western Digital internal hard drive in my Dell PC. I have a 1 TB WD "My Book" USB 2.0 and this one is a 1 TB "My Passport" USB 3.0. It does my pc backup noticeably faster and is ~1/10 the size. So far it has worked like a charm.

I purchased this external drive to backup my apple MacBook pro. It was pretty much plug and play It works great with apple time machine. I would definitely recommend this drive

I was shopping for price and comfort in using. Both were met with the choice selected. I bought one for my wife and I and find it very easy to store material from our laptops and tablets.

I purchased this so I could create more storage for my games on my PS4 and with a quick update to the program after installing it, it works like a charm! Very easy to use!

This was easy to load and equally easy to upload files to. Self explanatory for first times users. Extremely fast and quiet. Would highly recommend for its compact size, ease of use and speed.

should have purchased one of these some years ago. no telling how much stuff I've lost over the years. handy dandy...upload, download....transfer......... lots of room; great price.

This backup drive had everything I was looking for - 1 TB of storage; it came in a beautiful, blue color; and plugs easily into my USB port. It works easily and is super portable.
