I bought this hard drive so i can store all of my movies on it in an digital format, which makes it a lot easier to hook this hard drive up to my smart TV and play which ever movie i want.

Basic portable hard drive that does not disappoint. I you need lots of space in a portable form factor, this fits the bill. Plus, Western Digital has always been reliable for me.

Love the speed of transferring through USB 3.0. Easy to use, and lots of storage space. Perfect for backing up all my videos and pictures in addition to documents.

I was looking for a portable disk drive that had a faster data transfer speed. I read in some of the reviews that the smaller sized drives would be faster. No real difference between this and my larger drives (4TB). All drives seem to say, "Up to 5 GB / second transfer rate". I've never gotten the rate above 160 MB / second. Even with a HDD with 7200 rotation speed (or going from a SSD, for that matter). So, I'm no worse off than when I started.

I purchased this product to expand my storage on my Xbox one. Easy set up and installation. Product works awesome...I have been storing all my downloaded games to this drive with no issues.

Easy to use, critical to have if you want peace of mind. Want to keep your important documents, photos, and anything else needed safe and handy? Then you really want a passport.

The physical size of this hard drive makes it very portable, and it transfers data fast over the USB 3.0 connection. I’ve found WD drives to be the most reliable.

Very nice little drive. Good for data backup. It needs to be plugged either directly into the computer or into a powered USB hub to work which isn't a big deal. The price is right too.

I bought this to act as additional storage for my PS4. So far, it has done exactly what I asked of it without any issues or lags. A good hard drive for a reasonable price.

Without having a DVD Writer in my new laptop I felt it necessary to have a backup capability. I know that many folks feel comfortable with using the cloud but I am more concerned about having something I can hold and utilize without the potential of compromize of the cloud systems.

This works amazing with my ps4. Once connected, the ps4 formatted it and now I can save all my games on it. No more deleting my downloads or having to choose between saved games!!

I got this to back up my Apple laptop because my Apple Time Machine wouldn’t work properly......it was easy to format for a Mac and easy to back up my laptop information.

I have been purchasing so many items, it is hard to find where to start. I call Best Buy my favorite toy store because I have purchase several of almost everything in your store for my family and me, from TV's, electronics, automotive electronics, lap tops. computers, cameras, programs, components, accessories and I don't even have enough room to say all I have purchased. I am in Best but a couple times a week for years, because I enjoy the great service, and have always been happy with everything I have purchased. I know the store buy heart and even bring my friends and relative there to help them find what they need. As I said, it is my favorite place to shop or even just see what is new. Your Geek Squad technicians and sales people always have good advice and are very helpful. What more can I ask. I am 81 years old and enjoy doing things for my family and friends. Good external memory source! This is a low-cost way to back up your computer memory and saving space on your hard drive. It’s small compact and easy to take along with your laptop. I haven’t had any problems with this product and I have been using it for about three months now.

I bought this to back up some files with a goal of storing in a remote location. Had bought a WD before, and it failed on me. So was a bit hesitant to buy another WD drive. Did not want to spend a great deal and this product met my needs and price range. So far, so good.

Price point is perfect for this device and it holds all my photos plus it is durable. I have dropped t twice and it works perfect.
