WD Drives are solid

I have owned many drives since the early 2000s and none have failed yet. (just upgraded when I needed more space and gave old ones away to family/friends) it has easy to use software included although if you have your own backup software you are already using I recommend to sticking with what you know. Fantastic purchase and easy enough to reformat if necessary using third party software.

large storage space for external hard drive

Best Buy Geek Squad was able to retrieve all my data through a data recovery process level 3. All my data was loaded on to the new ext hard drive that I purchased. I was happy with the process and with the new ext hard drive.
