Was plug and play ready. Easy to use. Great for storing old files when your internal hard drive is full.

I like to have a backup for all important documents and work I do, that this external USB is perfect also it is small enough I can have it with me everywhere I go. This portable USB has more than enough memory that I can record a movies to watch when I travel. It is perfect

I purchased this for my daughter. She loves the color. She's had it for a couple of months, no problems.

We are disappointed that it won't work on the computer that we wanted to back up with it as the salesperson assured us it would. We will use it on the newer computer thought so it was an okay buy

I am old school. I don't like backing up to the clouds or leaving a lot of info on my pc's. So, I back up my pictures & info on these little drives. Works great so far. I don't travel with them much but haven't had any issues.

My computer has been freezing at times, possibly indicating the need for a new computer. To back up my data on my computer, so that I could transfer it to a new computer, I wanted an external hard drive. The local Best Buy store directed me to what I purchased, and it's working great.

The WD My Passport is an easy drive to use, can be set up to back up when you want, and does everything a simple backup device should, with simplicity. Thats all you really need from a backup drive, ease of use, and it works. I recommend for simple backup of your HD data, especially photos and music.

The external hard drive did exactly what was needed. Back up my data on the mac before the Geek Squad swept my computer for the 210 viruses that were on there. It was great. Now my husband is going to use it for help with his computer problems. Two issues solved with one product-awesome.

I got this because I needed to back up my mac in a way that was windows friendly. At the time, my Mac was on the fritz and my windows pc worked fine. Go figure. I formated this as, I think it was FATex or something. Point is it saved all the contents of my Mac in a way that all computers can use.

Purchased this product to replace a three year old product. I purchased the exact same product I purchased this product three years ago. Past experience gave me the confidence to purchase the same external hard drive. All external hard drives should be replaced every 2-3 years per Geek Squad Agent.

This drive is great to move large files between pc's. It's also fast if your pc has USB3 connection.

This replaces a defect Seagate drive. This is about half the size of my old drive and works great.

Great storage device, I hooked it to my Xbox in 2 minutes and downloaded my games. Quick and easy.
