I recently had my hard drive crash and my flash drives somehow were wiped during a move. I spent days trying to restore the files that were lost. I managed to get most, but not all the missing material. Now I use the portable hard drive to back up all my files, so if anything should happen to my laptop and/or flash drives, I will have everything backed up on the portable hard drive.

It was reasonably priced and easy to use. It had enough space to hold what I need.

I like the hard drive because it has plenty of space, it's small and easy to store.

I love this hard drive. It works great and surprisingly fast consisdering it's only an HDD and not an SSD. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for an upgrade in storage for either a computer or a gaming console. I'm actually issuing mine for added storage on my PS4 and it works wonderfully. Definitely a must-have of you play a lot of games and 500GB just doesn't cut it for you lol

I needed a backup drive (Windows' File History/image/backup) for my all-in-one PC that runs my home automation network (and I really don't want to go down for any period). I plugged this one in, renamed it (you don't need to), and pointed Windows to it as a target for both regular backup jobs and File History, as well as a system image. Haven't had an issue with it!

I had to purchase this to transfer all my data from an old laptop and it was more than I expected. yes, it is a little on the pricier side BUT it is 100% worth it. you will honestly never need to buy another usb or portable device again. it seriously has an infinite amount of space on it. you can save all your work/school documents, photos, etc.

The unit is very compact with ease of use and reliable to successfully store important date files and pictures. It's easy to transport and quick to setup.
