Not Backward Compatible with all devices

Before buying it, I read reviews and questions and answers and it stated that this portable drive was backward compatible. But after trying numerous times to connect to all of my USB ports, I was unsuccessful. It would not recognize the external hard drive. I even had a friend who works on computers try and he was unsuccessful as well. It works great with my current computer which is running Windows 10 and USB 3.0. It's a good product, but just be careful if you are trying to back up older computers.

Cheap and Durable

Great for document of video storage. I will only ever buy Western Digital from the quality I've had for years. I still have old Passports from 10 years ago still running strong with a ton of media on them. This one is nice with a rubber grip so you don't drop it, and seems beefier in housing construction.
