The only reason why it is 4 stars, is because often times, the drive doesn't arrive formatted, and when you reformat it, you lose the software it comes with. I know that the software isn't exactly useful to many, but it would be nice to have a way to redownload it from a website or something if necessary. For those that don't care about that software, if you need a cost-effective good-value external SSD, this one is for you. This one also came with a Type-A adapter for those that don't have USB-C ports on their device.

I stay with the 1 or 2 TB size because bigger just means you lose more if you misplace the drives. Go for the faster speeds when they run the specials.
