Previously had a lacie hardrive and it corrupted, so switching to a ssd was awesome. WD is an amazing brand, i have never had an issue with any of their hardrives ssd or not

Drive was very easy to format for windows or mac computers. Gives the extra space needed when transferring old laptop to new.

It is nice and small, making it easy to carry around. The USB C 3.2 Gen 2 interface is nice and fast. I noticed a bit of hesitation when starting to copy a large amount of data, but once it gets going it is very fast.
