I bought this to run Time Machine on IOS Catalina before upgrading to Big Sur eventually. Great. Faster than spinning HD.

Quiet, light, and good read-write performance. I bought this because it's much less vulnerable to being dropped than a mechanical HD.

It works the best with great price. I loved using it.

Using this SSD to backup my HP computer. I had to use Acronis WD software which works great because the WD Backup software that came with the drive did not work with Windows 11. Hopefully, WD will provide updated software soon.

SSD is the way to go. So fast when transferring data and it is so compact. Size of a wallet.

I only buy WD now. There was a YouTuber I watched once that had a corrupted HD. WD offered to repair his stuff… that’s amazing. Customer service and quality for me all day long. Their guarantee makes me feel warm and fuzzy but their products are so good I doubt many people have to use it.

So fast. Can't go back to spinning drives. SSDs are pricier but so worth it when you save so much time backing up your system.

Plenty of space for my games at a reasonable price.

Pocket size handy SSD, file transfer speed is good

Lightning fast transfer speeds when used with the proper cable and the computer you are transferring from or to has an SSD as well.

I like the Slim and Light weight design. Has a great look too. I would recommend this for anyone looking for portable storage solutions

Purchased for my son as backup to Unity 3D meddling and other projects. He likes it and frees up hard drive space on his desktop.

This is my *GO TO* external SSD. I also bought two Sandisk 1TB equivalent SSDs, elsewhere. Anyways, this Western Digital model *ALWAYS* has at least FIVE TIMES FASTER Write-Time's than the Sandisk, across all my computers (Mac, Dell linux laptop, Chromebook, Dell Win10-pro laptop) Both are excellent Read-Time's (WD is noticeably faster than SanDisk Read Times as well.)

Small and portable for storing Gopro video. Great price.

I bought this at the same time as a SanDisk Extreme 1TB External USB-C NVMe Portable SSD. This drive is the prettier, more fashionable of the two, but I prefer the look and form factor of the SanDisk. These two drive must have the same insides because they test out nearly identically in drive speed tests. They're so similar they even have the same packaging inside the box. And I mean *identical*. Can't go wrong with either.
