Super fast and smaller than expected. Seems to be made well to withstand drops.

I upgraded my MacBook Pro to one of the new ones and I was worried about the speed with which I'd be up and running from my TimeMachine backup on an old spinning HDD. I picked this one up and started backing up. I'm pleased with the read/write speed and had the M1 Pro up and running in less than an hour. Seems durable and reliable!

I needed storage for photography while traveling as my laptop was beginning to fill up. I found this as my alternative. It is very compact, does not need alternative power and downloaded more quickly than the external hard drives I use at home for my photos. It was plug and play to my USB3 port. It comes with an adapter for a standard USB. It worked well.

Amazed by the amount of data you can save in such a small and light drive.

The Samsung 1TB USB Type C portable solid state drive is amazing. I have lost info on drives before and this is my second Samsung solid state drive and it's great. No worries about losing info; locking up or destroying files. In my estimation, the safest way to go with precious files.

Insanely fast when using the USB C cable. It gets a little hot when a lot of data is transferred (like over 200GB,) but that was a one time back up. It comes with a USB C to USB A adapter and USB C to USB C cable. Honestly, the adapter is useless, buy this because it is USB C.

Has a lot of space for storage. Nice size and the price was right. The only problems I had was with shipping. It was shipped via FedEx and it never arrived. looked like FedEx lost it, Best Buy was good about a replacement that I went and picked up at the store.

Product works great, I only wish that I bought a bigger one. SSDs make things faster. I will definitely buying an upgraded one.

I was hesitant before buying this as some reviewers said you can get the transfer speed as advertised, but I have it a try. I use it with my MacBook Pro and the speed is blazing fast. Transfer 10GB less than 10 secs. However, it gets warm really quick. It makes me doubt its reliability.

VERY Happy with this little drive. Speeds are at or very near what I would expect from an SSD. Very compact, fits nicely into my back-up drive portable case as an additional drive when working on pictures or other items.

And it's just a bit longer than a credit card in size! Couldn't get over the stupid convenient size - I threw it in my pocket and it was very easy to carry. WD software was easy to get set up for my back-up files.
