I'm digitizing a huge library of videos and music and using these drives to store the files. This has been a long term project and the WD Passport drives... I've purchased eight... have been outstanding. I'm very happy with their reliability and speed, and they have become smaller over the years making storing them easy.

This is my 2nd or 3rd "My Passport" external drive. In terms of storage space, one of them would hold everything - but I like being able to "dedicate" each one to specific purposes. And I love the variety of colors which makes it easy for me to distinguish between them without having to open them up to see what is on them. Pretty much plug-n-plsy.

Other than some of the 'old' External HD not being able to be fully backed up to this at the store, I have basically been gone and not used this new one. I really have no significant feedback.

I recently purchased the WD - My Passport 2TB External USB 3.0, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations as a reliable and portable storage solution. Here's why: First and foremost, the capacity of 2TB is more than sufficient for my needs. I can comfortably store a vast amount of files, including photos, videos, and documents without worrying about running out of space. It's perfect for individuals who require a significant amount of storage on the go. The USB 3.0 connectivity is a significant advantage of this device. The transfer speeds are incredibly fast, allowing me to transfer large files within seconds. It's a noticeable improvement compared to previous USB versions, and it has made managing my data a breeze.

Great device. Very compact. Distinguishable by its color which permits easy identification of data versus that retained on other hard drives. Super easy installation and use.

This was great for backing up data on a computer that I will be getting rid of. Easy to use and there was plenty of space on it for my needs!

We purchased this primarily for photo and sensitive document storage that can be easily unplugged and put in our safe. Depending on how sophisticated you want get it is pretty much plug-and-play. All we had to do was format it first. So far we're very satisfied.

What's NOT to say about Western Digital storage devices. As a company, they've been there from the start of digital media storage and they maintain their reliability. Easy installation and use. Hard to find a comparable replacement in either price or performance.

We were looking for storage to help my son with his PS4 and we read that this woukd help and it did. He's loaded all his games and still has a lot of room for more. It provided fast load times and theres been no lag time so far. Would definitely buy another one, and the price was great for this time of the year.

It still amazes me that a small package like this can handle 2 TB having grown up with old mechanical behemoths. This one works fine. It is not super fast transfer but it is fine for me to use as backup files or clones of operating system.

As a Youtuber who records a lot and often takes editing on the good, This was the perfect way to take the load off my PC hard.

I got this to add more space for gaming on my computer and this has helped tremendously. It’s nice being able to just store almost all of my games on this one drive and still being able to access them so easily like it doesn’t exist. Very easy plug-and-play.
