The hard drive fell once without it disconnecting from the cable and it does not work anymore. Very cheap and delicate. Will never buy another WB product again.

Says you can add extra space to your PS5 but it doesn’t add any extra storage. You can only save old games and you would have to download them off of the phd so you can actually play them.

Speeds of only 90MBps - Takes time to open photos and videos. My 10 year old Hitachi hard drive is faster than this at 7200rpm/130MBps. This is sad given how new this device is and how good the reviews are, dont get this for any sort of media storage/game storage. An internal hard drive for games is cheaper and faster than this

Not reliable. Lost all my information. Worked well first but not functional anymore within a few months

It is not for lack of trying...I spent a whole week trying to backup my Dropbox files on the WD Passport but it never fully work. It would start the process with a few random files but then it stopped. I tried reformating the drive several times, I uninstalled the software and and reinstalled the software, I even called customer service who was not much help, nothing worked. That's too bad I was really looking forward to keeping this little guy...I see a lot of 5 stars reviews online, good for them...maybe the issue is with Dropbox specifically, I don't know.

Terrible. It broke in the first year. Small, but not durable, Files were not able to be accessed in the first year. So disappointed.

The only bad thing is that one time the it was disconnected wrong it stopped working.

I bought this for backing up photos for a trip we took that was 3 weeks long. Unfortunately it does not work my laptop does not see it at all it is attached but cannot be used on my Windows laptop. As the warranty to return was 30 days it just sits

Took care of my problem, with a full computer hard drive

I told the Best Buy salesperson we have a Mac. Said this would work to make backups. It did not. Make sure to get the my Passport for Mac. That one works with a Mac very well.

I was told this would back my files up to the Passport and to the cloud. It does not back up to the cloud I found out when I called in. It did back up the files I wanted manually but it won't do the automatic back up like it is supposed to. I will have to call in to WD again. I did have another WD product and was not satisfied with that either. This will be the last one.

Broke after a couple of months of use, before then it was working perfect. A slight increase of pressure on it destroyed it from working. Wouldn't really recommend.

The drive for the first day when I add some files to it then after adding a password using WD utilities it just display message parameter invalid when I tried to open it. I should have returned it but I thought it was not a big deal and once I format the drive this message would stop and I could use the drive, but it did not and now I am after the allowed return period.

Was easy to set up and use, but after a month it stopped working. I called WD tech support and they said they were sorry but it's dead. I also lost all my data on this thing.
