Look for something else
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've bought three of these things over the years and two of them completely crapped themselves within a year. Even some very sophisticated partition recovery programs were unable to salvage them; everything on them was lost. I previously had good success with older WD drives so when the first one stopped working I figured it was bad luck. When the second one stopped working that's more than just a coincidence.

Does not work on Mac

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this unit for a little bit over a month and it is reporting a read error thru Defraggler, which I downloaded it just to try and resolve the issue and also Data Lifeguard which is thru WD. I would not recommend this thing.
