Great for storage on game systems. Also use for MacBook

Granted, SSD is now the way to go but I get paranoid of the “new way” and like to back up my important files onto these OldSchool external HD

This is a very inexpensive small and lightweight portable external hard drive with lots of storage for the money.

This was so helpful storing my pictures and other information. Easy as 1 2 3! Thank you. Worth every dime!!

Since I am teaching from home this semester (at least) I wanted to back up the items on my university computer and on my own personal laptop to have quick access to things and to prevent any catastrophic loss. It took very little time to set up the hard drive. It is very intuitive to use and copied the files quickly.

Easy to use with a lot of storage was able to put all my music and some videos on it with room to spare

The item is really small which is nice. Seems that data transfer is on par and the built in software is actually somewhat convenient while not affecting usage if uninstalled. As the basic backup drive it is I've been more than happy with it and it's price point.

It works great. I have had no issues. I have been placed tons of pictures with lots of memory available.

I bought two of these WD drives to back up the footage we were shooting in New York. The first WD drive I purchased worked fine and is still working. The second one started to allow me to put footage on it but then stopped working. I tried to reformat it but nothing worked. When I tried to add the footage it would just make a weird clicking sound. I told me DP about it and he said what brand did I buy. I told him WD and he said that was a mistake. In the past when he purchased WD drives, he said 4 out of 5 times they didn't last. That being the case and after my own experience, I will never buy WD drives again. And I will not buy anything from Best Buy again either. Their return policy is too short; only 14 days. I was out of the country and then flew to New York to film and by the time I got home the return window was over. Even though the drive didn't work the very first day I tried to use it, Best Buy won't allow a refund if you're past the return window. That's a BIG mistake by Best Buy; having short return periods when everyone else allows a much longer return window, especially Amazon. I won't buy anything from Best Buy any more because of their short return policy.

I had a WD last me little more than 16 years and is still kicking hoping this would do the same

Hooked up beautifully to my ps4. It's so nice being able to have a few games to play instead of what you're able to with the stock storage.

Good storage device. Holds lots of back ups. This device is also very easy to use.

Can fit an enormous amount of images , I have all my images from 2 years on this drive and still has storage for more !
