This works great for the ps4 and I have tons of space

This came through in a clutch! It hasn't given me any issues, and I highly encourage everyone to invest in a portable hard drive.

Every couple of years, I purchase another external hard drive to be certain that my documents are safely stored. The storage space continues to inflate and prices continue to fall. This year, I scrutinized over the Passport and Elements. There are no discernible difference. Purchase the one with the better price.

Works very well, but took some time to get it working with the password protected lock feature. Software included with the drive failed an update, and had to get the locking software from another WD external drive (probably could have found it online at WD site).

This is my 3rd WD Passport. I still use all of them. I have had the one for over 6 years and it's still going. I feel confident in using them to back up or save my data to.

Lots of storage and easy to use! I do have trouble connecting it to different computers though.

I picked this up at the store, took it home, and plugged it into my Windows 10 laptop. I copied about 300 GB worth of data to store as a backup. Transfer rates on my system averaged a little over 100MB/s. Initially, speeds bounced between 88 to 104MB/s. By the end of the transfer, speeds were up to 119MB/s. I'm very happy! I didn't need to do anything more than plug it in and go. This was a replacement for an old backup hard drive. It's noticeably smaller (about half as thick) than the old USB 2.0 500GB drive it replaced. The whole process was easy. There was nothing I needed to do other than to plug it in and go.

I have about 4 of these WD Passport drives and have never had an issue with any of them. I have used Passports for many many years and have had no reason to switch to another brand.

Love this little external drive. I use it as a backup drive and love the software it comes with to schedule when to run backups automatically and ability to choose exactly which folders you want to back up. Also I like that you can password protect it using the included software as well.

I needed a new hard drive since my first one stopped working. Works just as good and easy to use.

I bought this drive to store movies for my video library. It holds the movies and functions well with my computer. When I tried to attach the drive to my televisions and blu-ray/dvd players. Some it would work with others it wouldn't. I suspect the problem of not working with all the units is the drive is powered by whatever it's plugged into and some units couldn't do that. It works well though, as I said earlier, with my computer.

I had questions about the install and called the manufacturer's customer service line and received prompt a live agent to answer my questions. Very pleased with this product and service.

Using it for 2 months. No problems. Have a lot of Western Digital external drives and find them highly reliable. I don't need to use the encryption function as I'm not using it for anything that needs to be secured. Nice and fast on USB 3.0. Using it with a laptop. No problems.

Works well, just like the last two I purchased. Would Recommend.

Got plenty of room for all your media,(music, videos, movies). Nice and portable to view on the road.

This poryavke hard drive is an affordable option to expand your memory. The cable to insert in the computer is a USB A, so you will need to buy and adapter for USB C

Great External Hard Drive. Works with Macbook Air and my Lenovo laptop. Be sure if you plan to use this Hard Drive on both a Mac and a PC that you buy the Insignia USB-C to HDMI Multiport Adaptor. Thank you PJ at Beaumont, Texas Best Buy for your help. Great sales service.
