This is a very inexpensive small and lightweight portable external hard drive with lots of storage for the money.

Very easy to use, holds a lot of data on the hard drive.

Perfect for storing music and video. Easy set up and install.

Since I am teaching from home this semester (at least) I wanted to back up the items on my university computer and on my own personal laptop to have quick access to things and to prevent any catastrophic loss. It took very little time to set up the hard drive. It is very intuitive to use and copied the files quickly.

The item is really small which is nice. Seems that data transfer is on par and the built in software is actually somewhat convenient while not affecting usage if uninstalled. As the basic backup drive it is I've been more than happy with it and it's price point.

I dropped mine on a tile floor the other day and it split open in three pieces. The drive and the 2 plastic covers. I thought I'd lost hundreds of photoshop files. Believe it or not the case just snapped back together and works like a charm. What's better than a WD Passport? I have four of them now.

Western Digital make an outstanding drive in a small form factor. The drive was surprising for a good amount of storage in a small footprint. The USB 3.0 keeps the transfer speed at a reasonable rate. I chose to partition the drive into two partitions allowing me to segregate different data sets allowing separation of information.

Wonderful product: bought it on a budget and turned out to be great, so much memory and wonderful price compared to the rest of the products!, recommended it to all my friends!!

needed to add storage for my playstation 4, watched a demo on how to do it and this brand came up in recomendation and when i got it, worked just like the demonstration video. very easy to add storage.
