Seems like it’s working as it should, easy to setup and use.

I'm a photographer who needed a nice drive to serve as a backup to large RAW files. This hard drive works well and has plenty of storage.

This portable hard drive was purchased by my son to store files that are beyond the storage capacity of his other hard drives. I have not heard any complaints so it must be working well.

It works good, no problems. Plug it in and let it go.

I purchased this hard drive few weeks now to download my Native Instruments. So far, it's been running pretty smoothly. I would get a travel case for it. I will update...

Just what we needed to back up all our files, pics, etc

Bought for PS4 and now also used on my new PS5. This is absolutely silent and very durable. Been toting it around in my school back pack all year and still works like day 1.

As usual, these WD Passport HDs are fantastic. I buy a pair every December to use in the next calendar year.

I use, Windows, Ubuntu and Chrome and this drive interfaces seamlessly with all platforms. I am impressed and plan on buying another.

Works well, no issues encountered at this point. I use it for my gaming laptop and I am satisfied with the product.

Setup is not as simple as you're led to believe. Owner's manual is online which can be cumbersome when using the same computer you're backing up.

When I was looking for external hard drives on best buys website, I had used the filter tab to select solid state drives. This was listed in that category. However, no where on the item description did it say it was a sdd, and that is my fault for not being more careful. Ended up buying it and when I first used it to my surprise it was just a traditional hard disk drive. It wasnt a massive let down being as this is fairly affordable and again I should have noticed for the price it was too good to be true. Now to the actual product; it works pretty well for a 2.5" drive. It loaded my games fairly fast and read/write was fairly decent as well. The built in software works great too... During the covid 19 crisis and everyone working from home, portable storage is almost impossible to find locally which was also a battle to find one in stock anywhere. All in all I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for affordable storage on a budget.
