Great portable hard drive. Works good so far. Easy to use. Plug and store.

This is a boat load of memory storage, for a very affordable price. You don't want to load up your computers on board hard drive with everything. It will slow it way down, so this is the solution for stuff that you have to saved, without affecting your PC.

I needed a new hard drive since my first one stopped working. Works just as good and easy to use.

Bought this drive for adding to my ever growing need for editing long 4K content. It, along with another 2TB WD drive can handle everything that I can throw at it.

I had purchased a 2tb hard drive 5 years ago. It was thin and light. This WD hard drive is even thinner and lighter. I couldn’t believe it was a hard drive and not an SSD. It works great not as fast as an SSD but I only use it for mass storage.

I got this (in local store) to expand the storage capacity of my satellite TV recordings. Plugged it into my receiver and after I allowed it to be automatically reformatted, it is working and I'm pleased! Saved $5 by choosing red instead of blue or black.

Plugged it in to my Lenovo Laptop. It was immediately recognized as a new device. I did not have to download any drive software. I used Windows 10 File History Option to back up my files. It was considerably faster than using flash drives, although I thought it might be just a little bit faster than it was. Other than that, I am pleased with this external drive.

This has been a great product. I purchased it in order to rip all of my old CDs and keep the music in one place.

Love passport drives. They are reliable as long as you don’t abuse them as in drop them. Best Buy has reasonable and competitive pricing and I received the item in perfect condition. I recommend this for anyone needing more storage.

I love this thing! I have it in my glove box and connected to my head unit in my truck. It has all my music and hundreds of movies on it for my kids during road trips. No issues at all!

I had the WD easystore 4 TB hard drive, but it did not handle the concrete walkway I dropped it on too well. This is what I purchased to replace it with. It seems to be working quite well. Using it mainly for school work, but intend to use it for music projects as well.

I love these drives! This is my second one - the other I have had for a year now and it is durable, i.e. I carry mine around in my backpack, and reliable. I have owned others that have failed so it is refreshing to have a go-to product for saving my files.

Very affordable, smaller option of the My Passport series. Clutch for when you need a spare drive to dump top secret files onto. Like say, files from a famous laptop of an infamous son of a geriatric failure. lulz.

Works great, easy install and set up just plug in and go basically. I use it for extra games and seems to be working just fine

Western digital ext hard drives let me down a few years ago so i was reluctant to go with another external drive from them. I usually only use Seagate but this WD model was suprisingly very especially for the price. Good job Western Digital.

I'm a huge gamer and the storage on my XBOX 1 was filling up fast. I did a lot of research before purchasing this external drive. It was so easy to use. Just plug it in and the XBOX 1 will guide you through a couple quick steps. Simple! I highly recommend this external.

This is the third of these I have purchased, they are very handy little blocks of data. I use these for images and backups and they work great. They are, however, not as fast as other hard drives so if you're looking for a fast drive this is not for you.

Good place to begin if you're looking to back up your work. Especially if it's a lot of pictures. These take a lot of space. The size is great, big enough to locate reasonably easy. While a thumb drive may be able to back up a lot of data, they are also easy to lose.

I am very please with this hard drive. I had a lot of files I wanted to back up, and this has plenty of storage for me to do so. I would recommend it.
