There is one thing if you have an older tv this might not work I have s 1 tb passport that works fine with my older tv but tha 2 tb has different software so older tv's might not work. Just google it im sure there's a video that will show how to fix it.

Go to the WD website if you need their programs. I'm using it now for my ps4 it just needed to be formatted. Cannot be partitioned for use on ps4 at same time as PC.

It gave me pretty fair write and read speeds, didn't corrupt any data. But, it gave out after being connected to a brand new PC. And I couldn't find a way to retrieve any of the data. Not sure if the device switch killed it, but it was alright while it lasted.

Works with Windows and Linux (Manjaro, Fedora, Zorin, ext). Awesome back up. Makes a little whirring sound when plugged in.
