had an 1Tb used for years. finally filled it up. so only natural to upgrade to next level. get a SD transfer pkg with cable and you never have to worry about lost data.

Got this for my windows 10 pc. Didnt want to keep filling up my main hard drives with games. Bought this external and it's been perfect. Easy as plugging in and formating!!

Amazing product. I brought it for storing my data mostly multimedia and it has great speed i would say and it is so sleek and small easily can fit in the backpack.

The passport itself sees good, but the downloads are very confusing. It turns out that WD is no longer updating its software, so they are contracting with another partner, but none of that is clear to the end user unless you call.

The WD portable hard drive stands out with a red case, so it looks good. USB 3.0 and downward compatible make it fast and easy to use. The price for 2TB was outstanding.

My computer went "bad" and I needed a back up product for my data. This hard drive ia a great option for back up storage.

I bought this external portable hard drive to replace another one (they seem to be designed to need replacement at a period of around 5 years). It copies files quickly and is very easy to use. I've been please with it so far.

Great storage device. Only drawback is inconsistency with password. Sometimes ot does not require it to open the files and other times it does.

I'm using this external harddrive to store photos and documents and it is working very well. It connects easily to my computer and makes transfer simple.

I have had many of these external hard drives over the years - fewer as the storage capacity increases. They have never failed me and are easy to use.

As title said, I cannot copy large hunk of files. I was trying to transfer files from my old phones to this external drive, but when ever I tried to copy a folder that has a lot of data (the folder was only 5GB in total) it estimated that it’ll take 40 mins to transfer and I always ran into an error midway. To bypass this problem, I had to copy a little data at a time. •The build quality is okay. •I can’t give a rating on speed because this is my first External Hard Drive. •It’s very easy to use. I’m just disappointed that I can’t transfer files larger than 5GB in one go. My fault for going the cheap route for something important. Next time I’ll go for SanDisk.

I needed an inexpensive portable harddrive and this was the perfect choice. Very compact and light. Plenty of capacity and no issues interfacing with my Mac Pro.

The my passport is great for backing up important documents and photos from laptops and desktops. It gives peace of mind if a computer crashes I have all my data saved.
