Ver happy with the price for the amount of storage space. And it is very small - smaller than a deck of cards. It says it comes with an auto backup program, but you have to call and get a link to download the program. So far, it hasn't done a complete backup. I don't know why or even IF it's actually backing anything up! Also, the service number given is for Sandisc, and they don't service this WD drive! They keep referring me to the WD service. So far they've only given me instructions to use the Windows 10 backup, and that hasn't worked either... But, it does store the files I've manually dragged and dropped into it.

Hasn't yet had the change to withstand the test of time, but it is well built and gives no issues. Work bought a prebuilt computer that doesn't have space for internal drives and this is used as an expansion to that systems storage. Has been being used for a server and is doing great.

Installation as a Mac Time Machine backup drive couldn't be easier. Plug it into a USB slot and MAC OS sees it and asks if you want to use it for Time Machine. Reply Yes and you are done. If you don't need 2 GB for backups and want to split it, use disk manager to create 2 partitions, and tell Time Machine which one to use. You can format the second partition and use it as extra storage. Great for people with smaller SSD storage for storing pictures, documents or whatever.

This is actually my second time buying this product.I liked the way it work,easy and simple just plug it in to any usb port and youre good to go. Its really small too compare to my previous external hard drive.Definitely recommend this product

This 2 Terabyte External Has been extremely helpful in saving all of my collegiate documents. It works for all computer devices with a 3.0 usb and usb c connect. It worked on my Mac and Chromebook, newer versions. Careful though, there is the option to erase the drive during setup on a Mac.

Seems to work good. Downloaded my old (ancient) computer into it for use with my newer laptop.

So far so good. Had it for a month, use it for lightroom catalog and picture storage and everything has been smooth.

Bought it because I am having problems with my Mediasonic DVR. 1st the manufacturer said to get a 2TB usb powered hard drive, so I got this drive. Not fixing the problem they then recommended an internal harddrive with an enclosure. Returned this drive because as I belived my problems with the DVR are not drive related. I have a couple of these drives and otherwise qiute happy with them.

Honestly I didn't expect this to work as much as it does, but I bought it for my Xbox and it has been such an amazing help. I have downloaded all my games and more with almost no issues, the only one being that the game cover on your My Games section will be blank instead of showing the picture, but it still displays the name. Other than that this is an amazing price for the amount of storage you'll get with no real hiccups!
