With my pc dying and an old external hard drive loaded with pictures, I was so grateful for the ease in which I saved it all and am up and running with a new laptop.

The sales representative informed me that it was similar to a flash drive and easy to use by dragging items into the portable hard drive. I did not find it that easy. i ended up copying my photos and videos to the Passport portable hard drive. I wish it would have come with written instructions or a manual.

I purchased this one to replace a much older model that gave out on me after many years of use. Works great, connects with no issues and hasn’t disappointed me yet.

I'm a big fan of external storage. I don't like to keep important documents on my laptop in case of a crash. Large drive. Nice.

Needed this to transfer and backup files from windows XP computer to windows 10. I Didn't read package. Doesn't work with XP. But still good for backup files on new computer.

This hard drive works well, the response time is great and practically no lag time. Others have been sluggish but this one so far is living up to the expectations.

Nice little hard drive that holds a lot. I use it to move large number of files, some quite large. Easy to use. Good to have the utility software for auto backups.

It was easy to use. I have had an older Passport and chose this new larger one because of the dependability of the other one. I had expected to pay a lot more.

We purchased this drive to use with our Dish Wally receiver. Although Dish says you need a hard drive with an external power supply, this one works great for that purpose.

Bought this to backup my computers. Backed all the files I needed and still have plenty of space left. Setup could not have been easier, very pleased with this product.

Bought as a secondary backup drive, the WD Passport 2TB is really handy. My only quibble is the proprietary drive-side end of the USB cord it uses. Otherwise, I am a fan.

I mainly use this disk as a backup for my photos. No problems so far. It feels solid in your hand and never had issues with connection or data transfer.

Needed a hard disk with large capacity to store the data from Laptop as I was running out of space on that. This one came in very handy and the input output is pretty fast.

We have been traveling to a lot of places, taking a lot of photos. We have so much space for HD videos and hi res pics. Still haven't even used half of the space yet.

The My Passport 2T portable drive does the job, and does it well. No problems there. It is a bit larger than I expected, and the corners of the case are not rounded like some other cases, so it has a "boxier" feel to it. OK, but not as "smooth and slick" as some other drives I've used.

After reading many reviews and Consumer Reports, I purchased this drive. It had one of the best reviews with Consumer Reports and so far I have not been disapointed.

It's attached to the lid of my MacBook using hook and loop tape. Reasonable performance for the purpose it serves. Thicker than it needs to be, but I haven't needed to tuck the laptop in to a backpack, so it has not been an issue yet.

Bought this on sale for $55 and has worked flawlessly so far. It has no issues being powered from a USB port. Already recommended this to other people.

Never opened mine from Best Buy. Got a 3tb on clearance at another store 2 days later. Great product. Does exactly what I needed for my PS4. Only real complaint was the lack of knowledge about the different hard drives by employees.
