I backed up two whole laptops with this. I was amazed about this product. I would definitely purchase in the future if I ever need more storage.

I needed something quick, inexpensive, and immediately available. I would purchase again if necessary. Run to the store, walk-in & purchase; easy.

I bought this after I ordered the same hard drive and used it. It is secure, nice looking and the main thing, it comes with 3 years of warranty.

Had a Seagate slim design and dropped on floor and broke. This is thicker but much more solid build. Just plug in and recognizes immediately

I have not had any problems with this ext. hd. It works well and Windows detected it right away, so there wasn't any delay in using it the first time.

Windows laptop had a hard time recognizing this as an external drive, but Linux machine had no problems. I'm sure I could have gotten it working on Windows if I spent more time playing with it, but I was only using it as a backup drive for a WD MyCloud, which it does fine.

So far the hard disk drive has worked great, I have been able to save all my photos and documents from my laptop.

Exactly what I was looking to backup my Documents and Pics, and the best of all Is that I can keep the information secure with password protection

Worked well to back up my computer and then when I got my computer back from a Best Buy check I had to put all the data back on. It worked great.

the store only sells certain colors but online you can get whatever color to match your style. oh, and like all WD products it works perfectly.

External drive sits on my desk attached to my computer and readily available for easy and quick backup of files and photos as needed.

So far so good, will see how it works out when I actually need the back up. For starters I read other reviews stating that the product back up software was difficult to use so I chose just to go through my anti virus back up and it went smooth as ever! No complaints.

This drive works as expected. The case is a little plasticy and I would not expect it to survive a fall of any kind. I always keep it in a case.

This is a well build portable drive that I can put confidence in when I need to have my information on multiple computers. A great buy!

Nice product that you can password protect. but be careful, if you forget the password, you're done for. I've never set the password up. The device recognizes my personal PC, and I have access issues when I use on another machine.

To be truthful, I haven't have time nor the person available in order to use this product. But, my friend has one and I'm sure it will be okay.

However, I have not attempted to reload any files or data. At this point I can not say how reload can be accomplished or if it will be successful.

I use this device as an external backup. It supports Bitlocker encryption with WD quality. Not the fastest drive, but for my purposes it's perfect.
