I purchased this device at a friend’s advice . Iam very pleased with the results and the amount I can store on it.

Having your own storage facility for data, makes good sense to me. This device makes it possible at a remarkable price. Many on-line (free) storage sites have time limits (1year, or less). Most have size, or resolution limits. Why box yourself in, and give control of your data to someone you've never met?

I wanted a hard drive to store all of my sons games. The WD passport was easy to use and has done a great job.

I needed to upgrade to a bigger backup and this one fit the bill. Was able to backup my desktop and 2 laptops.

Works great with my PS4, so no internal hard drive installation was needed. Been working great for a while now.

I have not had any negative issues using this external hard drive. It's reliable, and seems to be very sturdy.

I purchased this to back up important date (lots of pictures) to be able to store the unit off site. Very easy to use, and the transfer of nearly 1TB of information was much quicker using USB 3.0 than the older 2.0 speed. In the future, adding files instead of nearly 1TB will go even quicker.

This is a good fast backup drive I have yet to have one fail the reason for only 4 stars is that if you go with a different color it costs you more for the same thing. Whats the deal Blue paint costs more than Black?

I purchased this drive as my primary external hard drive to use for photography. I am not particularly comfortable performing many computer functions but this by far the easiest I have used. I have backup drives for a PC and laptop but this is by far the best choice I have made - quick and straightforward.

You have to go to there website and read the Mac specific instructions when using with a mac but works great!

This hardrive loads considerably faster than the internal hard drive for Xbox one. With ample storage for my game collection I don't even use the internal drive for game storage any more. Another plus is it's small enough to take to friends houses in your pocket instead of having to load games on their system.

The drive serves its purpose well. Bought to store all the extra documents and photos my computers collect.

I love it. Bought this one for my MacBook to take photos off the desktop. Already had one for my old windows friendly laptop. Since you can’t have both Mac & Windows on same drive went ahead & bought a 2nd one.
