Bought for use with an Xbox one. Setup was simple and the hard drive seems to be faster than the internal hard drive.

I have another one of these I use as a backup, I needed a second for my new laptop, so I grabbed a slightly smaller one for daily usage. These are small, portable and reliable little drives in my experience, thus far!

This drive is great! I was able to backup my entire hard drive in minutes with no humming sound. The encryption is great because you have to load the software on you laptop/desktop to even see the file structure once you encrypt the hard drive. Otherwise, it just looks like a small capacity drive. I chose blue over black so it would be obvious it was mine when people went looking for an external drive, but the color doesn't impact the superb performance.

If you need to save things, this is a great way to save it, and it's pretty portable and durable, too!

I’ve always thought that I wouldn’t notice a difference in download speed but I can. I was transferring information from a Seagate drive to this one and it wouldn’t work but when I transferred the information to the computer first then to my WD drive it worked fine. Though I did notice the speed from the Seagate was about 20% faster

This back up is much better than other back ups i bought from another company. I actually got my mother to buy one. as she was running out of space on her phone. I didn't help her, and she still was able to back up her phone and said it was easy to do!
