Does the job it was purchased to do. Plenty of storage and decent transfer doyers

WD has not let me down. It’s our fourth product over the last couple years.

Was a bit surprised by the size of the enclosure, a comparable Seagate 2TB portable drive is about 1/2 the width of the WD drive. Given that the Seagate drive was not available I decided to purchase the WD drive that was in stock due to time constraints. The size of the enclosure makes it a bit inconvenient to store the drive in the standard carrying cases that I have been using in the past. (I can store 2 Seagate drives per enclosure but only 1 WD drive per enclosure due to the added size of the WD drive.

I needed an external drive, and the one I purchased at Best Buy is perfect.

bought this hard drive for a friend to use on his xbox one. this works great..all you do is plug it in follow some instructions to format it for xbox and boom ready to go..perfect for anyone looking to digitally download a bunch of games and apps

This external drive was simple to use. I attached it to my brand new iMac. The OS X operating system reformatted it so it would be compatible with the iMac. Now it holds my Time Machine back-ups. I've had it a month now and it works perfectly so far.

I purchased this to be able to keep all of my files backed up and in a fire safe in case of worst case scenario. It works well and I would buy another one if I needed the room. This one has plenty of room for all of what I have to backup.

This was used to back up my recovered files and i have not used it yet.

Have been using WD products for a while and have never had a problem. They were expensive a few years ago but glad to see them lower their prices to be competitive but keeping the same build quality we all came to love. Solid External drive for $60

I got this so I could do a backup and then keep it in another location.

I have owned several portable hard drives but this is as reliable as they can be. Never fails as other of my drives have done. I have stored all my ebooks, audiobooks, music and videos with absolutely no issues.

Purchased this item as a 2nd back up source for pictures. Mounted on top of desk top tower with Velcro. Data transfer speeds good. I wish it had an on/off switch

I bought it for use with my ps4. Very simple to use and does not take up much space.
