Purchased this for the Xbox One. It's quiet, has insulated rubber feet, and visually matches the Xbox One. Cable is long enough to reach around to the back from the side. It's also faster than the Xbox One internal storage.

Bought this for my PS4. Works great cause 500GB is not enough

This was an add-on for my grand daughters computer and has worked well in storing her personal stuff, so that she doesn't have to store everything she creates on her hard drive on her computer. She's a graphic art student at ECU.

My son got a few new games for Christmas and his memory was full on his console. A quick trip to Best Buy explained the problem to an associate and he recommended this. Now he has more then enough storage. Thanks Best Buy.

I got this external hard drive to free up space and safely store all the pics on my computer. There is more than enough room to store all of the pics that I currently have stored with plenty of room left over for future pics.

The passport are lifesavers when it comes to laptops. This will help keep your memory free and you are able to transfer it and keep it with you at all times. It has huge memory and easier than dealing with tons of USB's.

I was so tired of deleting games to add another. Bought this & now all my games are loaded, no more deleting & no lag. Runs smooth and fast can't even tell it's an external storage device. Easy install in under a minute.

Using this as a backup drive for my photos. You never want to just have one copy of them because if something happens to them they're gone forever. For a little more money you can get the SSD, but this will do for now.

We purchased this to connect to our PS4 system which was out of memory and could not longer update the system. We could have cracked open the PS4 and pulled the hard drive to increase it's memory, but why go through the hassle. Buying the external hard drive was as simple as could be, plugged it in and followed the instructions and in a couple of minutes, presto an extra 2TB's of memory.

I bought two of these.The drive is well made. It comes formatted for Windows, but can be reformatted as a Mac drive. I use a solid state drive for Photoshop and Lightroom, but these drives are very cost effective for backup.

As a retiree who prefers written instructions I did not find this product to be intuitive to use. I wanted a full back-up of my 5-yr-old laptop. I think (hope) it did it, but I never saw any percent progress as the on-line help said in step 10 that I should see. The next morning I did see a notation that the back-up began at 10:04 pm and was completed at 5:24 am so I hope I'm now protected. I am pleased with the 2TB size which should handle all my stored photos.

Purchased this because my old portable hard drive that I use for saving backups at 1tb can now only hold 2 full backup. Old unit was also Western Digital and this unit works flawlessly and can hold a month's worth of full backups.

So glad the salesman recommended this external hard drive. The only issue I had (which really wasn't an issue) was I needed to format the drive to a Mac. This was performed easily and I was good to go in minutes!
