My old computer was dying and needed to backup everything. This external hard drive was a life saver in getting all of my data from the old computer to the new. Now we are using it for regular backups.

I would recommend this hard drive to anyone. It is a plug and play item that needs no explaining to use, but for those who are first time users the instructions are simple to follow. Buy it an enjoy.

I gave this external hard drive to my son for his birthday and he was very relieved to be able to back up all the music on his laptop before he sent it off to be repaired. He said that it worked great for him.

I rarely need a disc player these days, but my new laptop has no disc drive, so this little portable works well in conjunction with the laptop when I need it. It plays CD's and DVD's as well as any built-in.

An external drive is a must these days and this one has been great. I handle it carefully as I carry it with me like a portable drive and it has held up great.

Great drive for my Apple Time Machine Backup. I had to use Apple's Disk Utility to format the drive to Journaled for Mac then I was able to set this up for Apple's Time Machine Backup.

My second storage device/ New technology, more storage space, same commitment from WD with quality and performance. BestBuy ran a good sale and the price I paid was just right!!!

I purchased this for my PlayStation Slim. There were no issues getting this drive to work on the Slim. The price was right. all games on the Slim were transferred from internal drive to this one.

Plugged in to PS4, followed online instructions to transfer games. Took a bit to get everything transferred but works great. Small enough to sit next to the PS4 without taking up too much space.

I bought a 2 TB Western Digital My Passport Hard Drive for price of about $80. Very easy to hook up and it worked as advertised! This is alot of memory for the money and it does not take up much space.

Works with xbox one s. Just hace to plug it in and format it. I purchase this to use with my microsoft xbox one s. It compliments it very well. I always went with western digital and it hasnt failed me.

The sales associate pointed me in this direction. Really happy that he did. I plugged it into the Xbox one and is synched automatically. Great alternative to the Xbox brand. Get more bang for your money.

I've only had this for a little more than a month, but I like the way it automatically backs up my important data without asking me. This could be a data saver in the event something happens to desktop computer. It's very small; not much bigger than a deck of cards and makes no noise. It was detected readily by Win10 and seems to have no problems.
