Initially purchased as back up for laptop in case of hard drive failure but instead works well extending storage for larger files on older laptop with quicker retrieval than the original hard drive

Game changing in the SSD value, meaning the speed, not the price. I managed to get this on sale around $250 (wouldn't buy at full MSRP). This performs as advertised, speeds are amazing read & write (which is normally the lie in advertised). Using for external with Powerbook, for video editing, and it works perfect.

I download all pictures and movies from phone for more space. latest phones are only using all built in storage. this will give a little freedom from that...

I considered getting another standard external hard drive for our growing family pics, videos and important docs but I'm glad i spent a little more on this lightning fast SS drive that will keep everything much more secure and safe over the years.

This new ssd drive is really fast at downloading and uploading data. Great way to transfer hundreds of family pictures and videos. Would buy again.

We have used WD drives for a very long time. They are durable and we haven't had any issues at all. Love the speed.

I picked this up for my PS5 for all my PS4 games, can't be clogging up that onboard hard drive with data that can be functionally stored on one of these, I've never noticed any sort of lag or harsh load times, very pleased with this!

So far, no problems with this external drive. I have it attached to a docking station with my HP notebook, and it works well. I would recommend it.

This product is good value but didn’t play well with my MacBook Air. The device didn’t eject correctly due to Apple software. Additionally, the device didn’t get recognized immediately when plugged in. It would take 5 minutes before it appeared on the screen.

I needed SSD drive for storing and running my recording VSTs & this device is doing great as comparr to my other ssd. I highly recommend this!
