I’m not sure if this is normal but this little guy gets a little warm when in use.. A little warmer than I expected

I bought this as a working-drive for video production. When I first plugged it in, it was fantastic...on par with another external SSD from a different (and well-known) manufacturer. Within the past week, I've been having difficulty with the drive disconnecting or not being recognized on wake-up. Just today, I had to restart three times before the Passport appears in file manager. At this point, I'm not sure if it's a problem with the USB port or the drive itself, but it's safe to say that I'll be backing up my backup as soon as I submit this review. My advice if you're looking for a dependable external SSD: look elsewhere. (If I find that the drive is not to blame for the issues I'm having, I will gladly update this review.)

Fantastic SSD. Use it for several games on my pc and it handles them flawlessly!

It's an external drive, you can save things on it. It does what you expect. The other model comes with 2 cords for USB and USB C, this just has an adapter and a single cord instead. Never pay full price, wait for a sale.

I put a few things on it from work & labtop. But it took me bit to order the lightening to C converter to get it to work for me to back up my apple 12 pro max phohr.

Pleased that this drive connected with the xbox one. The improvement in loading times from the external hard drive is noticable and appreciated.

This about as big as a credit card. Very portable.

This is a solid hard drive.. it’s very compact & portable.. I think the case I bought for it was too big because I was expecting the drive to be bigger.. Got it on sale and would definitely buy a 2nd SSD..
