Light and fast

I personally use it partitioned into a Time Machine drive for my Mac and as a traditional external drive for my PC. Super convenient if a little pricey.

Great...when it works

When I first plugged it in, it was fantastic...on par with another external SSD from a different (and well-known) manufacturer. Within the past week, I've been having difficulty with the drive disconnecting or not being recognized on wake-up. Just today, I had to restart three times before the Passport appears in file manager. At this point, I'm not sure if it's a problem with the USB port or the drive itself, but it's safe to say that I'll be backing up my backup as soon as I submit this review. My advice if you're looking for a dependable external SSD: look elsewhere. (If I find that the drive is not to blame for the issues I'm having, I will gladly update this review.)

Great SSD

I think the case I bought for it was too big because I was expecting the drive to be bigger.. Got it on sale and would definitely buy a 2nd SSD..

It does what you expect. The other model comes with 2 cords for USB and USB C, this just has an adapter and a single cord instead. Never pay full price, wait for a sale.

Needed ligntening to C plug & not used it yet
