Its is worth to buy if you are interested in setting up your personal cloud to share pics videos and games

AWESOME DEVICE! It is very portable to where you can carry it in a purse, pocket or back pack and use your iPad, smart phone device to watch movies at a park, beach or at a bus stop. A great travel photo backup solution.I took this drive on a trip, and was happy with its performance.

I bought it to give it a try even when I was a little scared because of the concept. So far I love it, I transferred movies and music to it and connected my kids tablets so they can watch movies on the road. Easy to setup, we have connected 4 devices simultaneously and it works flawlessly.

Was hard to set up. But eventually i figured it out.. Pretty neat

Works well and it is portable so I can take it with me when I go on trips it works fast I would recommend this to someone

Will use on a trip to Europe to download video off of a GoPro. Testing it out beforehand and it should work fine.

Very usefull it is. It is really a must have hard drive.

Wanted this so i could back up photos from my DSLR while on my honeymoon overseas. This thing is great! You can set it up to automatically back up as soon as you insert the card. Great for having an added backup, and a wireless option for storing other files as well.

So it works, but I haven't had much time to play with the features it is loaded with.

This hard drive works as advertised and I am very happy with the purchase.

Bought this item to back up my PC and DVD library. The intent was to use it as both a backup device and a means for the kids to each have their own movies on our many road trips. Started backing up the PC worked great for about two days. Then I got the red light of death. Called WD they walked me through wiping the hard drive and the. Told me I could either send it back or return to best buy. Replaced with the same at best buy. Got that one home no charge to it. Charged it and as soon as I turned it on got the red lights of death. Took that one back and went with the seagate wireless hdd. Sure it was an additional $40 but it actually works. So comparatively it is worlds more valuable.

We bought this for photo storage but it is not a substitute for backing up to DVD for Irreplaceable photos this is just my opinion because I always create redundant systems to prevent loss of valuable or replaceable moments

This unit has worked well, it does just what I need it to do.

Works well if you want to upload pictures but will not let you upload mp3s.

It uploads pretty quick and downloads even quicker

This is a magical box. The amount of features this device has is amazing. Not only is it self powered making it truly wireless, it also has easy to use security features to prevent anyone from getting at your stuff.

I set this up in the car with all their favorite movies. Once connected to the wireless it let's them watch on their tablets and I get a lot fewer "are we there yet?"s!

Great to have my files on the go and be able to open them from my Windows Phone, my Tablet or my lap top. I still have to find how to put an Access code to it.
