Small size with great storage capacity. I love it!

This product is awesome and doing exactly what I purchased it to do. I have it connect to my Airport Extreme and I just save everything on it. Great value for the money can't find a better value!!!

The 3 Terabyte Passport External Hard Drive connects via a USB cord (provided) and is super easy to use. The file transfers are fast and easy. This is a great device.

Western Digital is my go-to hard drive and has been for 15 years. The only issue with these drives is that the encryption is hardware-based. If you're going to need encryption software is the way to go. If the hardware fails when using Hardware encryption you can kiss your data goodbye.

I didn't realize this backup was the same as a mirror image of your drive. I was able to load my backup to a new computer with all programs and software as well as data. Awesome!!

This is a pretty great external hard drive for the price, it's a little bigger in size than your typical my passport portable drives. Fast response times and connection speeds

I purchased this to archive video and photos. It writes and reads really fast and have had no issues yet after a few weeks. The only thing I wish it had was a software to partition a part of the drive for Mac files in case I need to share with Mac and Windows users. Otherwise it seems OK.

I use it to mirror a hard drive using Carbonite. It works fine. One drawback: it cannot be used to boot a hard drive, so it is necessary to create a DVD/CD for that purpose.

I'm a big fan of external storage. I don't like to keep important documents on my laptop in case of a crash. Large drive. Nice.

A difficult product to set up for an Apple Mac computer. It took me three attempts and I still had trouble with it. It was a couple of weeks and many headaches and reboots before the drive was working properly.

I needed a ext hard drive for Time Machine Backups. Storage price point was excellent. It does what I need it to do. From past experiences WD drives been very reliable.

I have never had an issue with these portable drives, although I was concerned that something around 3TB might be an issue. No issues yet, which is always great.

I purchased three of these to be used as a rotating backup solution for a media server. The encryption adds a great feature for this. They seem to work well.

I have owned several western digital passports and found that their product is very "user friendly". I also like the idea the are password protected.

Great, compact external drive. Connect to your computer with USB for 3T of additional storage. Great for backup copy of photos and family videos.

I use this to back up my files and it works great for this. I can back up from multiple computers in multiple locations.

The product is well worth the investment. I have cut the cable TV cord with this product and have an awesome gaming system all in one!!!

After a quick re-format for use with my wife's Mac it works amazingly well. Love the fact that is is USB powered and no power supply is required.

Got this for our xbox one and everything worked perfectly! No more deleting games for memory space!

Bought a few of these to rotate backs through and they’ve been great. Wish they were SSD but for the price they’re great.
