Very good drive for back ups. I first bought a 1 TB SSD that was fast, but couldn't back up my I Mac Pro. I got this HD, 4 TB for it for a great value. I would recommend this hard drive for any one needing backups for time capsule. Haven't had any bad issues with it either.

Compact, large data storage capabilities. It is aesthetically pleasing, and due to small physical dimensions, easy to transport and store.

Decent speed for data transfer. However can really be noticed with large files even when compressed. So if you require large data file transfer routinely then I would recommend a solid slate drive. This product is good for the price of storage space and being a HD disk.

I got this to back up family photos, etc. The WD Passports have always treated me well and they have a longer warranty than the lesser models. Treat them gently, don't drop them, get a case to carry them around in, and they will probably last a long time. I've been a heavy computer user for many years, I'd totally recommend these.

I bought the 4 TB because I have tons of pictures to move from one system to another and then backup instead of paying for cloud services. This works perfect for both and is fast working also.

Good shape and sleek look, the only issue is the very short type c cable they give you with it, it's only 6inch they should have given a ft.

Exactly what I was looking for and has complete 4TB storage. Will say before purchasing this it works for storing ps4 games only but can be used to play games on ps4 and ps5. Overall great product, would recomend!

I purchased this unit for its size, both physical and storage. With more and more files saved, it became necessary to have a unit with more storage available. I already have two units, both at 1TB, and photos and music, along with documents, end up taking a lot of space. I don't anticipate filling this unit too soon in the future.

Works great with multiple os. File transfer is very fast.

All the space I could ever need for all the images I can't stop collecting. Some people hoard books; I hoard images and now, I don't have to cull them out. LOL

For the price, this WD drive checks a lot of boxes. No you’re not getting SSD speeds, and I still prefer editing video off of internal or SSD, but you get a solid backup drive that is fast enough to use for editing if needed.

This 4 TB External Hard Drive is very dependable and a Great Price

I got this portable hard drive because I needed to free up space on my laptop and use it to back up my photos. This device is small, light weight and well built. I was able to transfer 6 GB of photos to it in approximately 1 minutes or less. I am confident this hard drive is built to last and my photos will be safely stored for when I need them.

So far I've used once to backup. Biggest issue is to set up the folders for each time I want to back up. I was advised to purchase the 4TB to allow for several backups without overwriting the others. I thought it was kinda expensive, but hadn't used one before and if it prevents me from losing data, then it will be worth it.

Very amazing storage.. instructions are simple and easy to understand ! setting up was quick too i absolutely love this and i would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

This is a good product, but I'm not really pleased with the software that came with it. The backup software is constantly running in the background and chewing up about 50% CPU. Going to stick with it to see if things get better over time. It has a huge capacity, yet takes up only a tiny footprint on top of my desktop system.
