So far so good. Using this as a media streamer. As a former music/ tour photographer and working over 23 yrs as a photographer in general I have a lot of photos, music and videos I’ve collected over the years. Hold everything fine. Works great with Plex.

This drive is pretty good if all you really need is an affordable way to do cold or maybe even warm backups, but it isn't terribly fast on my systems. All that being said i'm very satisfied with the capacity and the modest reasonable write/read speeds.

Works good for storing movie files from GoPro and drone.

Bought this specifically to attach to my PS4 to store game files on and it works great. If you find yourself like me and need alot more space for games because Modern Warfare keeps pushing out gigantic updates, then this hard drive is for you! Just a quick format and it was ready to use.

Easy to install and worked very well. Like the ability to set up auto backups.

Purchased the WD-My Passport 4TB external drive for storage for years of photographs. The drive works great and is fast. I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone needing external or additional storage space.

Very handy little backup device. This is great for backing up photos from my phone. Really easy to use, just plug in (to your phone’s cable) and follow prompts. I also back up to a cloud, but this is easier when I want to transfer photos to another device.

This did the job but wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. I was hoping to be able to transfer documents via WiFi. The Best Buy rep told me this product does that but it does not. Just a regular drive. I returned it because of that missing piece but would recommend for their storage space of that is not important to you.

Got this for my PS5 and have had zero issues. All the PS4 games are stored in it and can play them straight from the HDD. PS5 games have to be moved to console storage in order to play them, but that’s PlayStation’s fault, not the HDD.

This is a really great external hard drive. I love the size and it is perfect.

Hands down one of the best hard drives I’ve ever purchased. There’s nothing like future proofing your digital media, and this helps significantly. Would highly recommend to any one needing additional space on their computer

I needed this passport to hold family photos and it has worked well to store everything I scanned. It was easy to use and access the photos I already downloaded to the external hard drive. I would recommend this to anyone who needs an external hard drive.

The size makes it easy to transport. You backup a lot of data with its 4TB capacity.

Easy and convenient to use, I would recommend it to any video game player or work from home person. It is very easy to set up. It allows the owner to save data on a separate device which means if the primary device has problems, you will not lose any data that you can not afford to lose

I have purchased 20 or more Western Digital hard drives over the years, both internal & external, from 250 MB to 5 TB. I never had an issue with any of them including this 4 TB My Passport external hard drive. I would buy a WD drive any time.

I have not had any issues with this hard drive, I have uploaded over 300 movies and music and the best thing is I just plugged it into my Samsung TV and all it does is work. Very minimal heat buildup, I like it so far
